Osamu Tezuka ~The Great Manga Artist~

Our guest gave this post card with a blue stamp. Thank you very much! I love the people in the card and stamp. Yeah, if you love manga and anime which are a important parts of Japanese culture, you know them. Black Jack, Astro boy, phoenix and so on... I love them all.  The guest went to Osamu Tezuka museum(手塚治虫記念館). The website has the English page. 

He is one of the greatest manga artists. Sometimes he was angry to editors. If he couldn't be satisfied his works and the dead line came. Of course editors says "HURRY UP!". He answered "I'm struggling for my best work!". Wow, that's a nice attitude of an artist.


When he went in a hospital for the crucial cancer. He wanted to draw manga. His last word is this "Let me do my work".

Doing something efficiently, you might feel it's just a routine work. Thinking all about your work to do best, you can be the best one to do the work, like Osamu Tezuka. 

Yeah, I love also his personality!

Mist Shower at the bus stop

Autumn is coming soon!!
But it's still hot and humid outside in Kyoto.
Today's maximum temperature is 28.
When i walk outside in the daytime, i am exhausted all the time.
But i found a good place to cool down.
It's a bus stop at Kyoto station.
Can you see the above photo?
There are mist shower at the bus stop.
It's so nice, isn't it?
When i walk through there, i feel very comfortable.
But this service will finish at the end of September.
Only in 3 days!! It's still hot outside!!
I hope this service will continue bit more. I think everyone thinks the same.

Getting Lost, yet Feeling Good ~in Kyoto~

Where am I?  I guess I'm in Kyoto. But, I got lost. 


The sunset is beautiful.


The scenery is nice. I felt the cool breezes as if I'm in the center of a desert. Also the electric cables look beautiful to me.


Then a train goes away in the distance. I don't know where it's bound for.

Yeah, I know getting lost is sometimes shame. But, if I haven't got lost I couldn't see the scenery and couldn't know the beauty of the sunset. I know myself in the sunset scenery feeling good, being impressed.

Oh, I have to go back to home. Where's it? When the night has come, I couldn't say those words, because it's BIG burden to me, if I should sleep on the street. 

I love journey anyway. If without it, I can't feel some good feeling. 
Loving travels, loving travelers! Of course A-yado is such kind of place.

Kibene(貴船)'s Nature and Holy Trees

When I went to Kibune-jinja shrine, I enjoyed the nice weather and good temperature in the middle of September. The photo is a building in Kibune shrine. The shrine is large having many parts.  


Nice sculptures. Like moving very tough. 


If you watch them at the same time, it's also nice, I guess.


Do you know the tree?


It's a holy tree of the shrine. The type of tree is Japanese Judas Tree famous for the energetic appearance. 





I wanted to take a good photo.


The color is nice. Yeah, this one is good about the green color.


Beside the tree, there's a small building.


At last I took one, from upstairs. 


This is another holy tree. It's a Japanese cedar. 



BUT, it's sort of special. There're two trees from one roots. So it's popular for wishing the good relation ships of couples. One is a wife and one is a husband.


They were cheesing. Nice. In front the tree. Yeah it should be a good memory. Strong relationship is their treasure of their lives.

Kibune and Kurama areas located at the north side of Kyoto city are nice place to enjoy the beautiful nature. They are in the area some hundred years ago or, maybe,  some thousands years ago. 

Nice to walk and relax, feeling the atmosphere or holy nature!

The Japanese comedy show

Have you ever seen the Japanese comedy show before?

 I went to see the famous comedy show called "Yoshimoto Shinkigeki(吉本新喜劇）" few days ago.
Actually, i am a big fan of this comedy show. Because i have been watching this show on TV since i was child.
I still remember that i switched on TV to see this show as soon as i came back home from school and really looked forward to it.

Why i really like this show is i don't have to think anything.
Just laughing and it takes my mind off the worries of everyday life.

There is a place you can see this show around our guest house.
It's called "Gion Kagetsu(祇園花月）" and takes only 5 mins walk from here.
I think you can enjoy this show even if you don't understand Japanese.

Let's try to see the Japanese comedy if you come to Japan!!

L.A①(Los Angeles )

I took the flight at 7:00am. This is very early. But It was so cheap. So I put up.

 About 2 hour later. I arrived L.A. At first, I went to my hostel. And I went to super market to buy something to eat. When I entered super market, it was so cold. And I found amazing things.

  I never seen these things. Cake's color is so bright. I thought My stomach will be heavy feeling, If I eat this. 

 After lunch, I went to central  from station. This central looks like Seattle.

  I found L.A police car. I was excited because I like `Die Hard`. 

 Next I went to Hollywood. I met many Celebrity. First I met spyder man and superman. Second I met Darth Vader. Finally I met Jack Sparrow. We can take picture with them. But we should pay chip. 

 After this I walk around Hollywood. I found Hollywood sign. Impressions are it's same as the picture. 

                                              Next destination is Santa Monica.

Curry and Udon Noodle, the Taste is GREAT!

When I go in the local Udon restaurant, there're just 2 people in chairs. And in the kitchen Udon masters, just I guess so, I don't know the taste yet, are working in steam. 

One person is reading something and sometimes watching TV show. And another person is just eating Udon looking at the kitchen. They don't look boring. Just enjoying relaxing time of their lives.

Udon comes. Yeah, of course, it's not normal Udon. Udon is normally white noodle in thin brown soup cooked with fish as the ingredient. 

The noodle is Udon. The white is a little bit colored by the yellow. Yellow color makes me happy. Because it's curry. So the Udon is curry and Udon.

Is it strange? No, No, Japan is such kind of country, in which everybody wants make everything mixed together. Curry and Udon., it means India and Japan. Bread and sweet bean paste called Anko, it means western countries and Japan. We love foreign countries and accept the culture.

Seattle

I had ridden the bus for 3 hour.

                           I arrived immigration of USA.  Incident was happen in here. 

 When I pass the immigration, one staff ask me ` what are these things?` She asked about my cup noodle. ` What kind of food are there?`  I said ` There are beaf , pork , noodle......` I teach about my noodle. But she said ` There is no English information. So We can't understand , what kind of food there are.` After this talking, she took my noodle. I think, Confiscated goods are discarded. But she put on the desk. Maybe my noodle became the lunch of staff.

                     I ride bus again about 3 hour. I arrived Seattle. There are many buildings. 

 And this is Seafco field. It's a MLB Stadium. I stayed this hostel. It looks like American nomal house. 

                                                        This is my room.
 
                                                                 And living room.

  I spent only one night in this hostel and Seattle. My next destination is LA.

Ｖａｎｃｏｕｖｅｒ

I walk around  the Vancouver city with my friends. Central has many cool buildings. And Vancouver is very clean. So I thought, this is good place to live. 

We spent long time for walking. So we want to eat something. My friends proposed the oyster. 

 This is oyster restaurant. You can eat some food in this restaurant. (This is Japanese restaurant)

         These oyster are only 99 cents per one piece. Because this time was happy hour. 

 After eat something in this restaurant, we went to pub. We drank in　the pub. When we drank, one friend propose to go to Casino. All of us  be drunk and exciting, so we decided to go there. 

                     Few hour later.... We lost. After Casino, we drank and eat again. 

                                                    Next day, I go to USA by bus.
