Awata Matsuri Festival in Kyoto -With a Short Movie
Today I found the parade of a local festival called Awata Matsuri festival. The parade went along a big street around our hostel.
One of the side of that street was closed. And parade went to the middle of it. When I looked them a few minutes they turned and went back to the direction they come from.
Their white matsuri clothes are really impressing.
And here's the potable shrine. I loved their calling to encourage themselves. The potable shrine looked heavy. And they looked really nice.
And a horse walking. Nice. I want you to look the parade moving! And to listen their nice calling!
Yeah, that's it. Nice, right? But, the video is short and the angle is not very good. I should do a great job next time!
October is sort of festival's season. You can enjoy so many festivals in Kyoto. Because the festivals, matsuri have the history. And Kyoto is one of the oldest cities. History and Matsuri. Good to enjoy in Kyoto!
O.K. Here we go!
