Our guest wears a cool knit cap

He is our guest from Canada.

Look!! his knit cap!!
It looks cool, doesn't it?
It is written as Hakuba(白馬)in Japanese.
Haku(白) means "white" and Ba(馬) means "horse" in Japanese. so it's a white horse.

But actually Hakuba is a ski resort town in the northern Japan Alps.
In winter many people enjoy skiing there.
Also in 1998 the Nagano Olympic was held there. I remember that i was very excited when Japanese ski team got a gold medal.

Well, he was working as a ski instructor and this knit cap was given from the company he worked. so we can't buy it at any shops. If you want to have it, try to be a ski instructor.

When i was talking to him about Hakuba, i felt like i really want to go for skiing. I haven't done skiing for ages and completely forget how to ski now.
Please someone teach me skiing when you come to Japan for skiing in winter!!
