In the photo, there are green leaves, an
old wooden house, and a small bridge with cable stones. That bridge is nearby
our hostel by walking for 3 minutes. It’s something historical.
By chance I saw Geisha girls on 1st day of
August. They were walking on the bridge modestly. That day is for Hassaku(八朔, はっさく) which is their important event to
greet restaurants they work for. I saw more than 10 geisha girls in a day!
Kyoto has so many events in the 4 seasons. And
to enjoy them, there are a few tips.
Firstly, go out frequently.
Secondly, watch carefully something you are
interested in.
Thirdly, ask our staff to get the
information!!
