Ryoma Sakamoto (坂本竜馬, さかもとりょうま), the stone marker

If you love the history of Japan, you've definitely heard that name, Ryoma Sakamoto who is a great samurai with the energy to change the old Japan.


The stone maker with his name is in that picture. He suffered from a hard situation in that place.
The maker said "In this place there was a small house to store lumbers, in which he escaped from a hard situation".

So many places of Kyoto have something to do with the history. Over a long period of the history, a lot of things happened, and some of them is a tragedy or comedy.
